<p>The invention relates to a method in connection with a laser machining apparatus, whereby during laser machining (LT), carried out by the apparatus, nitrogen (N2) is being used as shielding gas, which is produced by means of a so called nitrogen generator (1), such as membrane-, PSA-separator or like, which separates nitrogen gas from a gas flow being treated therewith.
