The housing for a grand piano (1) is composed of a basic housing (2), with attached modules e.g. an outer curved section for the keys, a transit module (13) at a curved side section (9) of the housing in a triangular shape with two side surfaces (15,16) meeting at a peak (17). Corner modules (18) are fitted at the end wall (6) of the housing away from the wall (3) at the key side.
