A portable cart (1) which can be converted to a canoe or boat cart and which can be folded and transported within the canoe or boat. The cart is also convertible into a game cart or a cargo hauling cart. The cart can be broken down into a carrying position to be carried either by hand or as a backpack. The width of the cart can be varied. The cart includes a removable clamping assembly (200) for clamping a stretcher (230), carrier bed, or other type of carrier thereto. The cart is attachable to a bicycle by a pull clamp (510) and includes an anti-tipping attachment (500) for use when pulled by the bicycle.
