<p>In a multi-provider environment, where a network operator provides bearer services and a service provider provides the actual service, customizing billing for services requires accurate contracts concerning the content and structure of billing data transmitted by the service provider. In order to eliminate this problem, a billing content is determined for a service in such a manner that the content is available to the network operator and it determines parameters (N) provided in service billing data and indicates how to find the parameters from the billing data (ID, S1, S2). For determining billing data, definition rules are defined in advance to indicate at least the type of data that should be specified for each parameter.</p> |
