<p>The invention concerns a brake pedal (1) designed to equip a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, comprising a housing (2) mounted rotatable about a first rotation shaft (3) adapted to be linked to the vehicle engine wall, a pedal member (4) at one end (4a) of which is fixed a pin (5) designed to slide in a slot (21) provided in the housing (2), a displacement mechanism (7) for causing the pin to slide in the slot while defining a length (L) between the rotation shaft of the housing and the other end (4b) of the pedal member, a first flange (8) linked to the housing and mounted rotatable about a second rotation shaft (9) adapted to be linked to the vehicle engine wall, a linkage (13) designed to receive the end of the braking amplifying rod at a distance (R) from the second rotation shaft. The invention is characterised in that it comprises means (13, 14, 16, 17) for obtaining a constant gear ratio (L/R).</p> |
