An engaging element of a combing device according to claim 1, characterized in that protrusions are provided perpendicular to the movement direction from the belt backside opposite the upper portion of each bracket. 4. An engaging element of a combing device according to claims 1 to 12, characterized in that a pressure plate made of hard material is arranged beneath teeth, wherein the plate shape is configured so that its front edge repeats teeth contours at their base.
