Fluid transceiver for longitudinal electromagnetic waves, exchanges electrical and mechanical energy reversibly between electrodes and fluid

Electrodes (3) transmit oscillations to fluid (2) filling container (1) chambers, exciting high frequency mechanical oscillations. Current is supplied via electrodes or an insulated layer (9) over them, causing HF longitudinal wave emission. Other variants, e.g. conductive walls, layers supplied with current, or a casing around the container, with a sound-conducting filling in the interspace, produce the same ultimate effect. Reversibility is exploited for reception. The transceiver so created, enables transmission and reception on a freely-selected channel.
