COMPOSITION FOR RUNNING SURFACE LAYER OR CAPPING LAYER

The invention concerns a composition for producing a running surface layer or capping layer, in particular for roads or industrial floors. Said composition comprises a non-modified bitumen emulsion, a hydraulic binder, aggregates and optionally water. Said composition is characterised in that: its hydraulic binder content C1 ranges between 12 wt. % and 30 wt. % relative to the total weight of the dry constituents of the composition; the ratio R1 of the sum of bitumen volumes and hydraulic binder over the volume of aggregates ranges between 20 % and 150 %; the non-modified bitumen emulsion comprises at least a non-ionic surfactant. The invention also concerns a method for preparing said composition and its use for producing a running surface layer or capping layer.
