<p>A right angle valve is mounted in a wlded pipeline, mfred. from a weldable material having good head conducting props., such as Al, located inside an insulated layer between the vessel wall at cryogenic temp. and an outer wall at normal temps. The valve spindle coaxially fited in a tube is extended to the outside walla nd is mfred. from a cr-Ni alloy. This extension tube is screwed and bonded into the valve body and additionally sealed by a knife-edge metal to metal seal. The valve is extremely leak-tight, reliable and free from gas leakage into the insulated space.</p> |
