<p>An apparatus (100) for loading a therapeutic agent onto an endovascular device (102), comprises a holder (106, 120 and 124) operated by a control unit (140) for carrying the endovascular device (102) to a number of processing stations, such as a dipping station (108), a drying station (110), a rinsing station (112) and a quality control station (114). The control unit operates the holder (106, 120 and 124) for dipping the endovascular device (102) into a solution containing a therapeutic agent for a predetermined period of time. The device (102) is subsequently carried by the holder (106, 120 and 124) to the other stations, where the device (102) is further processed in a sterile environment just before being used.</p> |
