FABRICATION PROCESS THEREOF The present invent refers to a bending mold for glass sheets and their fabrication process. The mold being of the kind that comprises an upper mounting plate, a lower wall and lateral walls, and wherein the lower wall is curved in agreement to the desired curvature for the glass sheets. The lower wall comprises a refractary material plate covered by a ceramic paper foil to avoid the direct contact of the refractory material plate with the glass sheets. A layer of high temperature inorganic compound is provided over the ceramic paper foil in contact with the glass, for increasing the mold useful life. Said inorganic compound layer is selected from the zinc, alumina, silica, sodium silicate, graphite or boron nitride group.
