<p>A scrolling sign (10) has a base tape or film (13) which is indexed to a display position between spaced rollers (11, 12). A flat flexible display signage (20) is removably supported on said base tape. In one embodiment the signage is supported by being attached to said tape using expansion tape (22) which extends transversely across said base tape at each end of said signage and has an elastic membrane (24) which overlies the edge of said signage and expands, in the longitudinal direction of said base tape, when said base tape and signage are wound on to one of said rollers. In another embodiment a support tape (250) is attached to said base tape in a similar manner to said signage and defines a space between the two tapes into which the signage is slid. Interlocking tabs (27) on the signage and on the support tape prevent longitudinal movement of the signage in the space and may be disengaged in order to remove the signage.</p> |
