<p>1298523 Granular PVC compositions DOMCO INDUSTRIES Ltd 26 April 1971 [11 May 1970] 11430/71 Heading C3P [Also in Division B2] Granular P.V.C. compositions for forming surface coverings comprise a vinyl chloride homopolymer having a specific viscosity of 0À10-0À15 (measured in a solution of 0À2 g. of polymer in 100 ml. of nitrobenzene at 25‹ C.) dry-blended with plasticizer and stabilizer. In a preferred embodiment at least two homopolymers are used, one having a lower specific viscosity and smaller average particle size than the other, e.g. one having a specific viscosity of 0À10 and a particle size of 0À006-0À010 inch and the other a specific viscosity of 0À13 and a particle size of 0À006-0À016 inch in a ratio of 1 : 3 to 1 : 1.</p> |
