Wrist watch with both analogue and digital time display

A timepiece comprises a watch case (101) with a back (118) and a display area (102) with a transparent crystal (104). The analogue display has an interior bezel (110) upon which are a plurality of markings (110c) aligned with an hour hand (108) and a minute hand (109), all of which may be luminescent. The analogue display overlaps the digital display (106) of passing seconds, the digital display being approximately the same size as the total display area of the timepiece.
