PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a tumbling protection on portable spot welding equipment of which the spot welding gun is freely movable in the horizontal direction with respect to the welding machine main body, so that the protection can easily be put away and stretched out without disturbing various tools and devices put on a narrow workshop floor or the like. SOLUTION: The portable spot welding equipment is provided with tumbling protection means (D). The means (D) comprise, on the right and left sides of the welding machine main body (W), horizontal shafts (13) parallel with the side faces of the main body (W) and on the top end part of the welding machine main body (W), upper leg supporting members (15) which are supported by and coupled with the horizontal shafts (13) so as to be freely turned and clamp stick legs (19) by operation levers (14), lower leg part linking members (18) supported on the side faces of the lower end parts of the welding machine main body (W) and of which the rocking arm parts (17) are turned along the vertical faces right-angled to the side faces, and stick legs (19) for linking the upper leg part supporting members (15) to the rocking arm parts (17) in the horizontal state of the lower leg part linking members (18) with a length secured for the bottom to reach the ground, and the means (D) is put away by pulling the stick legs (19) upward by operating the operation levers (14).
