PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag cover mounting structure of an air bag device allowing the air bag device to be constructed light and simple and its mounting operation to be simplified and capable of lessening the likelihood of breakage of an air bag cover when the gas for inflating the air bag is generated. SOLUTION: A plurality of engaging holes 23 are formed in the bottom wall 20a of a bag holder 20, and a bend 30 and an engaging piece 31 are formed at a leg piece 29 of the air bag cover 14. The bend 30 is arranged alongside the surface of the bottom wall 20a by engaging the engaging piece 31 at the hole 23, and the air bag 17 and inflator 18 are attached to the bag holder 20 using a retainer 19, and thereby the bend 30 is held pinchedly between the retainer 19 and bottom wall 20a and the air bag cover 14 is installed to the bag holder 20. |
