PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an ink jet head in which the piezoelectric characteristics of the head are not deteriorated when at least two members for the ink jet head are bonded through thermosetting adhesive. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing an ink jet head by bonding at least two members for the ink jet head through thermosetting adhesive, one of the members for the ink jet head comprises a piezoelectric element of ferroelectric material while the other member comprises no piezoelectric element. At the time of bonding both members, they are heated from the side of the other member comprises no piezoelectric element.
