PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly start an engine by avoiding an insufficient fuel supply pressure when simultaneously injecting fuel to all cylinders in an engine start, and to smoothly carry out transition from simultaneous injections of all cylinders to fuel injection per cylinder. SOLUTION: When there is an initial signal input from a crank angle sensor after starting cranking and there is no experience of simultaneous injections of all cylinders, it is determined whether or not a set time has passed after the initial signal input from the crank angle sensor (S1, S2, and S3). When the set time has passed, the simultaneous injections of all cylinders are carried out (S4). Then it is determined if there is an experience of an initial cylinder discrimination or group discrimination (S5), and if there is an experience of the initial cylinder discrimination or group discrimination, transition to the fuel injection per cylinder is carried out via a plurality of times of intermediate injections. By this, the engine is smoothly started by avoiding the insufficient fuel supply pressure during the simultaneous fuel injections of all cylinders, the transition to the fuel injection per cylinder is smoothly carried out by securing the stability of combustion, and exhaust emission is improved by reducing exhaust of unburned gas.
