PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake having a uniform velocity distribution in an intake and inflow region or a remote region even under the installing condition considering a compact layout or the like. SOLUTION: A horizontal collar state guide plate 3 is provided around an upper portion of a cylindrical main body 2 to which an intake pipe 1 is connected, above the guide plate 3, above the intake equipped with a disc-shaped lid 5 so as to have a gap for water intake to a guide plate 3, and a control wall 4 having a gradient with the whole being cylindrical and the wall body becomes higher from the lowest portion to the highest portion b on the top surface of the guide plate.
