PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily exchange a measurement chip to an optical system for measurement, without using any refractive index matching liquid in a sensor which utilizes total reflection attenuation. SOLUTION: The measurement chip 10 is composed by forming a dielectric block 11 having a surface 11a, where a metal film 12 is formed, and a light incident end face 11b and an emission end face 11c of a light beam and a sample retention section 13 for retaining a sample 15 on the metal film 12 in one piece. Furthermore, a magnet 10a is provided at the bottom, while a turntable 20 for supporting the measurement chip 10 has a ferromagnetic body 20a that is attracted with a magnet 10a of the measurement chip 10 at a measurement chip support position.
