PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an EDDS iron complex crystal, suitable for mass production, having excellent productivity, with which an EDDS iron complex crystal can be continuously produced in a high yield by a simple operation. SOLUTION: This method for an EDDS iron complex crystal comprises a first process for concentrating an aqueous solution S,S-ethylenediamine-N,N- disuccinic acid iron ammonium (EDDS iron complex for short) under reduced pressure and crystallizing a part of the EDDS iron complex to give a slurry, a second process for supplying an aqueous solution of the EDDS iron complex to the slurry while concentrating the slurry under reduced pressure, continuously crystallizing the EDDS iron complex, taking out a part of the slurry and maintaining the volume of the slurry always constant and a third process for separating the taken out slurry into a crystal and a mother liquor and recovering them. |
