PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stereoscopically display buildings in such a way as to match an actually viewed landscape during travel at a place higher than a road on flat land. SOLUTION: The map display device for stereoscopically displaying the buildings is provided with a present location determining means (4) for determining the present location of a vehicle, an information storage means (3) for storing building data with two-dimensional coordinate and height information, an image drawing control means (4) for stereoscopically drawing the images of the buildings on the basis of the two-dimensional coordinate an height information stored in the information storage means, and a display means (6) for displaying the buildings of which the images are drawn by the image drawing control means. Further, the device adjusts the heights of the buildings, and draws the images on the basis of the height of the present location determined by the present location determining means. |
