PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic door device capable of lightening a glass cleaning work. SOLUTION: The automatic door device having jambs 2 constituting a frontage for a building doorway, having a door 4 forming the overall surface of glass and supporting four corners by a frame 5 provided between the jambs 2 and making opening and shutting motions by moving the door 4 sideways is so constituted that a first cleaning device i7 coming into contact with the surface of the glass is provided to one side of the jambs 2 opposed to the surface of the glass of the door 4 and that the surface of the glass can be cleaned by the first cleaning device 17 in accordance with the opening and shutting motions of the door.
