PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a hoist device installed outside of a closed room for carrying a load in the closed room constructed inside of a building, and to provide a structure for reducing the amount of fume leaked to the external from a narrow clearance of a ceiling of the closed room for inserting a wire and a hook suspended from a hoist. SOLUTION: In this hoist device suspended from a rail and carrying a weight article, the hoist device is provided with a wire taking-up drum 3 and a wire 1, one wire end 2 is taken up on the drum, and the other wire end is fixed on a hoist body. A loop formed by the wire taken up on the drum and suspended, and the wire end fixed to the main body, and the longitudinal direction of the drum are placed in parallel, and the loop formed by the wire and the longitudinal direction of the drum are placed in parallel to the advancing direction of the hoist.
