GAIN FIXING TYPE OPTICAL FIBER AMPLIFIER

PURPOSE: A gain fixing type optical fiber amplifier is provided to obtain a total stability of a system by improving a gain fixing characteristic. CONSTITUTION: An optical signal is inputted into one input part of a tab coupler(100). A loop back light of a feedback loop is inputted into the other part of the tab coupler(100). The tab coupler(100) is a tab coupler of 99:1. A ratio of the optical signal to the loop back light is 99:1. An output light of the tab coupler(100) is coupled with the first erbium doped fiber amplifier(300) through an isolator(200). The first erbium doped fiber amplifier(300) is formed with a laser diode(301) for generating a pump light, a wavelength division multiplexer(302), and an optical fiber(303). An output of the first erbium doped fiber amplifier(300) is coupled with the second erbium doped fiber amplifier(500) through an isolator(400). An output of the second erbium doped fiber amplifier(500) is coupled with a circulator(600). An output of the circulator(600) is coupled with a fiber bragg grating filter(700). An output of the fiber bragg grating filter(700) is coupled with an isolator(800).
