PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective layer transfer sheet for imparting excellent durability to a printed matter, and a printed matter, in which imaging dye is prevented from migrating or thermally adhering to a vinyl chloride case or browning with light by imparting excellent weatherability to a protective layer and transferring an image onto such a protective layer. SOLUTION: A thermal transfer protective layer is provided at least partially on one side of a basic material sheet wherein the protective layer has a two layer structure including a layer principally comprising acryl resin and a layer principally comprising polyester resin formed sequentially on the basic material sheet. When the protective layer is transferred onto an image, imaging dye is prevented from migrating or thermally adhering to a vinyl chloride case or browning with light. A printed matter exhibiting resistance against water, alcohol, and the like, and imparted with excellent durability can thereby be obtained. |
