PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording sheet for a penetrating material or for a high gloss reflecting material which has a high gloss, the favorable preservability such as the water resistance, resistance to ozone, light resistance or the like or recorded images and characters, and the improved image bleeding of the ink jet recoding sheet with time. SOLUTION: In the ink jet recording sheet which is produced by providing at least one layer or more of an ink accepting layer on a support, the ink accepting layer consists of inorganic ultrafine particles, a binder and a cationic dye fixer and is covered with an anionic urethane polymer. After an image is formed by fixing a coloring matter onto the ink accepting layer provided on the support, a paint which forms a transparently finished coating film is coated onto the ink accepting layer and dried so as to form a covering made of an anionic urethane polymer, resulting in improving the preservability. |
