<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft manufacturing method capable of manufacturing a high-quality shaft by an internal pressure molding method. SOLUTION: The winding of a prepreg sheet, whose direction of orientation of fibers is 0 deg. with respect to a central shaft, is effected so as to be wound at least one turn so that the beginning end coincides with the ending end of the same while the winding of the prepreg sheet, whose direction of orientation of fibers with respect to the central shaft exceeds 25 deg., is wound at least one turn so that the ending end of the same is superposed on the beginning end of the same by a predetermined length into the beginning direction of winding and, thus, the prepreg sheet is wound around a mandrel through an elongatable tube, then, the mandrel is set in a molding mold and whose inside is evacuated, subsequently, a fluid is supplied into the mandrel and the fluid is injected into the tube through a fluid injection port to mold a shaft and thermoset the resin of the prepreg.</p> |
