<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably recycle a large amount of coal ash discharged from a thermal power station, or the like, without causing any byproduct waste discharged from a conventional recycling process, such as sulfuric acid, at a low cost, and also to provide porous ceramic particles which are produced as a recycled product from such coal ash and excellent in deodorization property and water absorption property and can appropriately be used for various materials such as moisture adjustor, deodorant, microorganism immobilization material, filter medium, soil improver and litter for livestock. SOLUTION: The production process for the porous ceramic particles involves preparing a mixture containing coal ash, quick lime, cement and byproduct gypsum and subjecting the mixture to foaming and hardening.</p> |
