PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recorder in which an ink supply mechanism can be replaced through a simple work when different kinds of ink are used. SOLUTION: An ink tube for supplying ink from an ink supply section supported on the recorder body to an ink jet head carried removably on a carriage mounted slidably on a rail member is flexible to deform as the carriage moves without choking an ink channel. The ink tube is provided, on one end side thereof, with a tube connect part being connected with the ink supply section and, on the other end side thereof, with a tube connect part being connected with the ink jet head. These tube connect parts are supported removably on the recorder body and the carriage, respectively. |
