PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a productivity and a maintainability by preventing a cap member 68 from being interfered with a head bolt while preventing the dimensions of a cylinder head 4 and an engine 1 from being increased when a VVT53 is disposed on the intake and exhaust camshafts 47 and 48 of the engine 1 and an OCV78 is disposed in the integral cap member 68 of the No.1 journal bearing part 49 of the cylinder head 4. SOLUTION: The cap member 68 is disposed so as to come into contact with a pair of right and left side head bolt through holes 51 at the front end part of a cylinder head on the front side of an engine in plan view, and cam cap parts 69 and 69 on both right and left sides are tightened to a head side bearing part 49 with two cap bolts 73 and 73. An OCV storage part 79 is provided on the inner side of the right and left side cam cap parts 69 so as to be swelled from the cam cap part 69 to the rear side of the engine, and the OCV78 stored vertically in the OCV storage part 79 is positioned so as to be held by the right and left side head bolt through holes 51 in plan view.
