PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a large spring load in a narrow space between a pressure plate and an intermediate plate with a simple structure and to stably regulate the connecting order of two clutch disks. SOLUTION: A multi-disk clutch 10 for an automobile is provided with a maximum interval regulating member 50 regulating the maximum interval between the pressure plate 21 and the intermediate plate 22 and a coil spring 60 provided via precompression between the pressure plate 21 and the intermediate plate 22.
