PURPOSE: A system and a method for automatically generating electric-board character recognition broadcasting caption in real time are provided to allow a general user to accurately and conveniently confirm game data through television. CONSTITUTION: A system for automatically generating electric-board character recognition broadcasting caption in real time includes a video processor(320), a graphic processor(330), a video synthesizing unit(340), an image acquisition unit(310), and a transmitter(350). The video processor recognizes and processes an image or character of a specific position of game contents data acquired through an electric board(100). The graphic processor automatically generates a broadcasting caption with the processed image or character. The video synthesizing unit synthesizes the game contents data and the automatically generated caption. The image acquisition unit receives the game contents data displayed on the electric board from a camera(200) and converts the data into digital data. The transmitter transmits the game contents data and the generated caption data synthesized by the synthesizing unit to a broadcasting system(400).
