PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a donor sheet efficiently with space-saving. SOLUTION: On the occasion of manufacturing the donor sheet for forming a thin film which is constituted by laminating at least a photothermal conversion layer and a transfer layer in this sequence on a sheet, the transfer layer is formed on the sheet having the photothermal conversion layer formed thereon beforehand, while the sheet is conveyed, and the transfer layer is dried successively in the manufacturing method of the donor sheet for forming the thin film.
