PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sunvisor for a vehicle capable of enlarging a shading area as required and ensuring sufficient shading area. SOLUTION: This sunvisor 1 for the vehicle consists of a support body 2 and a first slide shading plate 3 and a second slide shading plate 4 supported on both front and rear faces of the support body 2. A pinion 17 is provided in the support body 2, and racks 21a, 21b meshing with the pinion 17 are provided in the first and second slide shading plates 3, 4, respectively. An interlocking mechanism constituted by the pinion 17 and the racks 21a, 21b slides the second slide shading plate 4 in the opposite direction in accordance with the slide of the first slide shading plate 3 in one right and left direction, thereby enlarging the shading area of the sunvisor 1 for the vehicle simultaneously toward both right and left sides.
