The bodywork for a motor vehicle has a frame (1) to surround at least two doors and stiffeners (2) for the bodywork between the doors. The stiffeners include a single reinforcement and a stiffener, and a doubler cooperating with these to form a hollow casing. The frame can be the pillar between two adjacent doors of the vehicle.
