PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing container capable of developing a function for sealing the gap between a container main body and a lid member or the gap between the mutual container main bodies stacked up and down, simplifying a manufacturing process to reduce production cost, and enhancing the washing properties of the container main body or the lid member provided with a functional member. SOLUTION: A transport container 10 as the housing container is constituted of the container main body 11 and the lid member 21 both of which are made of a synthetic resin. An upper flange 16 is provided to the opening part 15 of the container main body 11 along the peripheral edge thereof, and a molded recessed groove 33 is provided to the upper surface of the upper flange 16 over the whole upper surface thereof. A seal member 5 for sealing the gap between the container main body 11 and the lid member 21 is provided to the inside of the molded recessed groove 33. The seal member 35 comprises a thermoplastic elastomer of an elastically deformable synthetic resin material, and is integrally injection-molded along with the upper flange 16. |
