PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material feeder having a simple structure and supplying a particulate material in an accurate amount. SOLUTION: A constant volume space 20 is provided to the material transport passage 12 under a hopper 2 for base pellets, and upper and lower shutter plates 25 and 35 for cutting off and opening the upper and lower surfaces of the space 20, are provided. The upper shutter plate 25 is set to an opening position while the lower shutter plate 35 is set to a cutting-off position to charge base pellets in a constant volume space 12, and the base pellets charged in the constant volume space 20 are allowed to fall by setting the upper shutter plate 25 to the cutting-off position and setting the lower shutter plate 35 to the opening position to be supplied by a constant volume. A metering plate having a metering through-hole is arranged to the material transport passage under a hopper for a master color batch, and the master color batch charged in the metering through-hole is allowed to fall by sliding the metering plate to be supplied by a constant volume. |
