PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trick-action device capable of preventing an enlargement without requiring a large occupying space, easy in manufacture and assembling, capable of reducing a manufacturing cost, and causing little damage by external force, and a clock using this device. SOLUTION: This trick-action device is provided with a cam body 204, a first rotary arm body 231 rotatably journalled to a first part (1) of a case body 25 by dead weight of a first arm part 2311, and having a second arm part 2312 for rotating while slidingly contacting with an edge part of the cam body according to rotation of the cam body 204, and a second rotary arm body 232 rotatable by dead weight of a third arm part 2321, having a fourth arm part 2322 journalled to a second part (2) of the case body 25 so as to hold a crossing state without regulating mutual rotation with the second arm part 2312 of the first rotary arm body 231, and having the fourth arm part 2322 for rotating while slidingly contacting with a part different from the second arm part 2312 among the edge part of the cam body according to rotation of the cam body 204.
