HARD COAT-COVERED POLYOLEFIN RESIN AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a hard coat covering film having high adhesiveness and scratch resistance on a polyolefin resin. SOLUTION: The surface of a polyolefin resin is subjected to a hydrophilization treatment. Subsequently, a coating solution containing an organic functional group-having silicon compound expressed by the general formula: R1nSi(R2)4-n (1) (wherein, R1 is an organic functional group having a methacryloxy group; R2 is one or more of hydrolyzable groups selected from an alkoxy group, an acetoxy group and chlorine; and n is an integer of <=3) or a hydrolyzate of the compound is applied on the treated polyolefin resin followed by drying. A hard coat is applied on the obtained primary covering film to produce the objective polyolefin resin.
