PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a preventive or therapeutic agent for inflammatory diseases in an anterior eye part such as an post operative inflammation, uveal inflammation, scleritis, conjunctivitis, eyelid inflammation, lacrimal grand inflammation, traumatic injury and the like. SOLUTION: This preventive or therapeutic agent for inflammatory diseases in the anterior eye part contains a carpain inhibitor, preferably a compound expressed by formula (I) (R1 expresses a 1-4C alkyl or a 6-10C aryl which may have a substituent; R2 and R3 are the same or different, express each H or a 1-4C alkyl or R2 and R3 may form a 3-7C membered ring by linking together; R4 expresses an aryl, a cycloalkyl or a lower alkyl which may be substituted with an aromatic heterocycle) or its pharmaceutically allowable salt.
