PURPOSE: A structure of overhead evaporator of dual type air conditioner is provided to prevent rapid proliferation of icing phenomenon formed on a contacting part between each tube and a fin plate. CONSTITUTION: An evaporator core(92) comprises a fin part(93) where a plurality of fin plates(93a) are stacked to separate from each other and to cross air flow; a refrigerant distribution part(95) formed on a refrigerant intake side and branched to a plurality of tubes(96a,97a,98a) placed in vertical direction so that refrigerant flowing from an expansion valve is distributed; tubes(96,97,98) branching from the refrigerant distribution part, penetrating each of the fin plates from a front side of the fin part in laminated direction and penetrating the fin plates from a rear side of the fin part via connecting parts(96b); and a refrigerant collecting part(99) formed on a refrigerant discharge side so that refrigerant in the tubes are collected and flows into the expansion valve.
