PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer in which secrecy of a printed matter can be ensured by designating a receiving time before starting print operation. SOLUTION: In the printer comprising an information memory and a timer mechanism, a print request designating the output time is stored in the memory and a receipt number is sent back to the source. When the designated time is reached, printing is performed in response to the print request. A user is simply required to fetch a printed matter at the designated time and not required to wait in front of a printer. Since the receipt number is sent back, secrecy can be kept using it. |
