PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ink for ink-jet recording that has high jetting stability, dispersion stability and can attain excellent resistance of the printed matter to water, even when being printed on plain paper. SOLUTION: When the maximum absorbance at 380-700 nm of the ink which at least comprises oil-soluble dyes or pigments, resins, organic solvents and water is defined as Amax, the dilution rate, as D; the amount of the resins (in wt.% based on the total weight of the ink), as D, the value of Amax×D/R is set 200-2,500. |
