PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a length changeable of a cover associated with opening/ closing action of the cover, and use the cover as a feed tray of a sheet material. SOLUTION: This device includes a device main unit 23 guided with a sheet material and a cover 26 which can be opened/closed by a hinge pin 25 previously determining a conveying port 24 formed in the device main unit 23 to be laterally extended, the cover 26 is provided with guide members 27a, 27b capable of taking two conditions of a first condition overlapped with the cover 26 and a second condition protruded from the cover 26 in a direction distant from the hinge pin 25 to support the sheet material guided. The device further includes a drive means 28, the drive means 28 is associated with angular displacement around the hinge pin 25 of the cover 26, to hold the guide members 27a, 27b in the first condition overlapped with the cover 26 in a position closing the conveying port 24 by the cover 26, to drive the guide members 27a, 27b in the second condition protruded from the cover 26 in a position opening the conveying port 24 by the cover 26. |
