PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a hold becomes so remote to make an operation difficult during tilt-up when an engine cover of an outboard motor is increased in scale. SOLUTION: This outboard motor is provided with a recessed part 43 for a grip for grasping the top part of the engine cover 2 of the outboard motor by inserting a hand into a part of the upper surface of the engine cover 2. |
