<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact device for monitoring in process on the basis of the image of a cutting state in a laser beam machining system, particularly in a laser beam welding system. SOLUTION: An image pickup unit 14 is installed behind a machining head 5 in a way that the optical axis coincides with that of a machining laser beam device 2, illuminators 8 and 11 which illuminate the part machined with the laser beam are built in a nozzle 6 for blowing an assist gas, the part which is machined with the laser beam and illuminated with the illuminators is photographed, and the image is displayed. Further, it is also possible that the image pickup device 14 is provided with a first camera 12 which is so adjusted to be suitable for a recognition of the part machined with the laser beam and a second camera 13 which is so adjusted to be suitable for a recognition of the periphery of the part machined with the laser beam, and the image which shows the condition of the part machined with the laser beam is generated by composing image information photographed with respective cameras.</p> |
