摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter type multichannel wavelength multiplexing and branching device having excellent light transmissivity and workability in an optical communication wavelength. SOLUTION: A polymer crossed optical waveguide circuit 2 is formed of a plurality of optical waveguides provided on a substrate 6, and a cladding part 8 to cover the optical waveguides. Filter insertion grooves 9, 10, and 11 are provided in the crossing portions of the optical waveguides, and dielectric multilayer film filters 3, 4, and 5 are inserted into the grooves, respectively. The optical waveguides and the cladding part 8 of the polymer crossed optical waveguide circuit 2 are formed of a polyimide fluoride.
