摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration suppressing device for a vehicle compensating a lag of the operation of a damper to a control signal by changing a timing of changing over a high speed solenoid valve. SOLUTION: This vibration control device is provided with the damper, which communicates a head side chamber 4a of a cylinder 3 to a rod side chamber 6a via a check valve 5a and has two routes for a channel from the rod side chamber 6a to an oil tank 7 in on-load and unload, respectively, between a carriage 2 and the car body 1. A damper constant is selected based on a signal of an acceleration detecting means 31 detecting a vibration acceleration in the car body left/right direction in on-load and a signal of a damper speed detecting means 44 detecting the moving speed of a piston rod 6 of the damper and, when the constant is smaller than a prescribed value, it is changed over to unload.
