PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a recording head surely to a carriage through a simple and inexpensive structure having a small number of components and to reduce the size and weight of the carriage by receiving the contact pressure of a pressure connector being pressed against the recording head by the rigidity of the entire carriage. SOLUTION: A pressure connector 41 being pressed against a recording head in order to connect a recording head 100 electrically with the control circuit of a recorder is secured to a carriage substrate 40 which is then fixed to the wall face of a carriage 20 on the recording head side.
